The Duke Herbarium houses vascular, bryophyte and lichen journals and books that are part of the Duke Perkins/Bostock Library, as well as extensive reprint collections for bryological and lichenological research. These resources include an excellent sample of floras, with global coverage. The outstanding and valuable personal lichenology library of W.L. and C.F. Culberson is currently housed in a room adjacent to the lichen collection.
Parts of this collection are available for sign-out to researchers with office space in the Biological Sciences Building.
