Plant Location Notes Williamsburg Co.: Along the flood plain on the northern bank of the Santee River along South Carolina highway 17, 0.6 mile north of the Berkeley County line at the Santee River bridge, about 2.7 miles north of James-town, associated with Quercus, at 25 feet elevation.
Plant Description Notes Plants infrequent; trees multi-stemmed, up to 4 m tall; flowers white. Neotype selected by Reveal & Seldin.
