Plant Description Notes Low winter annual; very infrequent, usually occurring with Houstonia patens Ell., but readily distinguished by its lower, spreading habit, short-pedicellate, delicate pink flowers, the flowers slightly fragrant and with a ring of yellow hairs at top of corolla-tube; capsule laterally compressed, the length nearly four times the width.
