Plant Location Notes Bluff above mouth of river at Moin, about 7 km N of Puerto Limon. Roadside.
Plant Description Notes Occasional in shade or sun. This from sunny clay bank. Stems reddish. Flowers closed before 1300 hrs. Sepals: 15 x 11 to 18 x 8 mm, whitish green inside. Outer corona: filaments rectangular in cross-section, bright yellow upper half, 10-11 mm. Inner corona: 4 mm, light green, capitate with light yellow. Operculum 3 mm. Column purple spotted.
