Plant Location Notes Boquete district. In the vicinity of the Bajo Chorro trail towards Boquete from Cerro Punta. Alt. approximately 7000 feet. Shrub 2.5 m., stem 1 inch in diameter, rooted in deep montane forest humus.
Plant Description Notes Bracts, rachis, pedicels, and bracteoles pink. Calyx tube green, limb and lobes pinkish-green. Lobe margins deep red. Corolla white. Filaments white, anthers yellow. Plant very viscid. Few plants seen in exposed site along top of forested ridge.
