Plant Location Notes On Hwy. 200, about 8.5 km W of Niltepec, by the turnout to Cerro Iguana. Roadside and pasture with grassy spaces and thickets of thorny leguminous shrubs.
Plant Description Notes Frequent, but scattered, occurring as individuals or several stems together, among grasses in cattle trails where rain accumulates, in light shade, to full sun. Spikelets greenish, mature ones light brown. Bracts ascendent at about 45 degrees.
