Plant Location Notes Mountain summits near pass ca. 11 miles south-southwest of Colima on Manzanillo road; precipitous rocky slopes and ravines of gypsum and slate, in deciduous woodland with Juliania, Bursera, Cephalocereus, Cyrtocarpa, Cassia; elevation 400-500 m.
Plant Description Notes Scarce, at edge of cornfield. Shrub 2.5 m. high; inflorescence drooping; flowers purple.
