Plant Location Notes Sierra de Manantlan [25-30 km. southeast of Autlan], along lumber-roads east of the road-crossing called "La Cumbre" between El Chante and Cuzalapa; lat. 19° 35' N. long 104° 8-15' W.; steep slopes in humid forest of Abies, Quercus and other deciduous trees, with Pinus dominant on the ridges and summits; elevation 2000-2250 m. 
Plant Description Notes Locally abundant on steep rocky bank 5 km. east of La Cumbre. Shrub 3 m. high; flowers golden-yellow.
