Plant Location Notes Gillespie County: Keese Road, 0.7 miles (11 km) North of Keese-Sagebeil Road and 18 miles (29 km) North of Fredericksburg. Habitat: Decaying granitic gruss soils among granite boulders. Direct sunlight or partial shade. Associated species: Anemone berlandieri, Berberis trifoliolata, Bouteloua hirsute, Carya texana, Cirsium undulatum, Eriogonum tenellum var. ramosissimum, Helianthemum georgianum, Hypericum drummondii, Lechea san-sabeana, Mimosa aculeaticarpa var. biuncifera, Opuntia engelmanii var. lindheimer, Quercus fusiformis, Q. marilandica, Q. stellata, Schizachyrium scoparium ssp. scoparium, Selaginella arenicola ssp. riddelli, Yucca constricta.
