Plant Location Notes Sierra de Manantlan (15-20 miles southeast of Autlan), near Aserradero El Cuarton, elevation 2500 m.; steep slopes near summits, in pine-oak-fir forests.
Plant Description Notes Abundant. Single-stemmed shrub 4 m. high, the stem 3-4 cm. in diameter; rays white, disk yellow.
