Plant Location Notes Steep mountains 20-22 km. south of Talpa de Allende, in the headwaters of a west branch of Rio de Talpa; barranca above a rapid clear stream, in dense forest of Quercus, Carpinus, Distylium, Magnolia, Podocarpus, with pine forest on the ridges above; elevation 1200-1450 m.
Plant Description Notes Abundant in pine forest. Several-stemmed herb 1.5 m. high; rays white; disk yellow.
