Plant Location Notes Cerro Teotepec, Municipio de Tlacotepec, about 40 km. north of Coyuca de Benitez; pine forest, elevation 3200-3500 m. 
Plant Description Notes Occasional in orpenings in pine forest, 1-1.7 m tall. Anthers red purple, turning white. Phyllaries purple when mature.
