Plant Description Notes Terrestrial; internodes short, 1.5-2.5 cm diam.; petioles U-shaped, obtusely sulcate adaxially; blades subcoriaceous, conspicuously bicolorous, upper surface dark green, matte, lower surface semiglossy; midrib paler and narrowly sunken above, paler and sometimes reddish, narrowly convex below; primary lateral veins sunken and concolorous above, convex and darker below; inflorescences 1-2 per axil; spathe blade green tinged red outside and inside.
