| Plant Description Notes | Appressed climbing, hemiepiphyte; internodes short, 1.5-2.5 cm diam.; cataphylls tinged violet-purple, bluntly 1-ribbed, sharply 2-ribbed near apex, deciduous; petioles sharply D-shaped (the margins erect-spreading to ca. 6 mm high, sometimes undulate), medium green, short dark-green-lineate, with dark purple ring at apex; blades subcoriaceous, semiglossy, moderately bicolorous, heavily tinged violet-purple below; midrib flat and slightly paler above, narrow-rounded and paler below; primary lateral veins weakly sunken above, convex and paler below; minor veins moderately obscure; inforescence 1 per axil; peduncle medium green, semiglossy, 5 cm long, 1 cm diam.; spathe pale green, semiglossy (pre-anthesis) outside, tinged violet-purple on outer margin and at base outside, also at base within, inner surface pale green and glossy in tube, greenish in blade; female flowers pale green, sterile male flowers white and pale green. |
