Plant Description Notes Terrestrial on steep bank at edge of forest; petioles terete, obscurely canaliculate; major veins raised on both sides; minor veins darker green and clearly visible beneath; inflorescence shorter than leaves; spathe green, spreading, recurved, margin wavy; spadix purplish-violet, or green tinged with purple in lower 3/4; cataphyll drying brown and intact, ultimately dilacerating but persisting; caudex 2.5-4 cm diameter.
